Overview

The Hy Lake Gold properties are situated in the Red Lake greenstone belt of Ontario, host to some of the richest gold deposits in the world. Since the mid 1920s, the RedLake Camp has produced over 23 million ounces of gold, including approximately 18 million ounces from the Goldcorp Red Lake Gold Mines deposit. The belt is recognized for its high-grade, highly profitable gold mines, which include the world class Campbell mine of Placer Dome and Red Lake mine of Goldcorp.
